Introduction & Project Goals

When I first heard the choral entrance of "Overture" that begins Twilight Symphony, I was awed. Twilight Symphony went on to show me the perfections of such great pieces as "Back from the Spring," "Ordon Village," "Kakariko Village," and "Ice Mass Blizetta." What Zelda Reorchestrated accomplished with Twilight Symphony just blew my mind.
However, I considered Twilight Princess to be my third favorite Zelda game and my second favorite Zelda soundtrack, with Wind Waker holding first place in both categories, and Ocarina of Time holding the other Top 3 positions. I felt WW and OoT both deserved their own complete symphonic treatments. I decided on OoT over WW because OoT needed the improvement more than WW did.

I decided early on that my project's title would be "Symphony of Time" over "Time Symphony," because "Time Symphony" didn't have the ring that "Twilight Symphony" did.

Originally, I had planned to present Symphony of Time in more or less the same format as ZREO's. Then I realized I didn't have any good reason to follow their 3-discs 50-something tracks format. I decided that I should present Symphony of Time in a Movement format, with two Parts, representing the adult and child eras in the game, dividing the Symphony into two discs.

The decided tracks are as follows:

Part I
Movement I: Overture
Movement II: The Forest
Movement III: Hyrule Castle Town
Movement IV: Hyrule Field
Movement V: Death Mountain
Movement VI: The Zora
Movement VII: Time

Part II
Movement VIII: Intermezzo
Movement IX: Lon Lon Ranch
Movement X: Kakariko Village
Movement XI: Restoring the Temples
Movement XII: Gerudo Valley
Movement XIII: Ganondorf’s Castle
Movement XIV: Ganondorf
Movement XV: Finale

I've considered doing/having someone do music videos like that of Twilight Symphony, but I don't have anything in the works yet. Perhaps live locations?
