If you hadn't noticed not really a lost has happened in terms of the SOT project over the past year since about August last year. Now that it's summer again, I hope to get some more done on the project.
I'd actually attempted to write the Forest Suite a couple of times over the year, but they both lost steam in the direction they were going. I started again earlier this month, and I'm pretty far in. I hope to release a version of it next week or so.
Okay, now for a bit of a tone change. I actually am not sure if I have the resources to orchestrate this project, though I could synthesize it in quite a bit better quality than the samples currently on Soundcloud. I would like instead to reach out into the Zelda community and collect some collaborators to help orchestrate the album. I will be sharing the scores on a website (TBA) and here through file sharing.
Also, I decided I wanted to create a Piano-only album based on The Wind Waker to complement the orchestrated part based on Ocarina of Time.
